In certain environments, running the "Get User Manager" activity returns the following error:
Could not find AD object with displayName of Jon Doe,OU=,DC= (exact error message will vary)
This issue appears to possibly be caused by AD containing both the old NETBIOS name and the new fully qualified domain name. SharePoint seems to import users using the NETBIOS name rather than the new AD domain name convention.
There is no known resolution date and no workaround for the issue at this time.
