AM 2007 and Sharepoint 2010

From what i've seen, the OOTB alert templates haven't changed much in 2010, so I was wondering: Will AM 2007 still work on Sharepoint 2010?

The installer will not work with SharePoint 2010 and the product is not directly compatible either. We are currently working on a new version for SharePoint 2010 which will include many new features and enhancements. We are hoping to announce the new version by early in the second quarter.

Currently licenses may be able to be converted to the new version, however check back to confirm this and for any other details that will become available when it is announced.
