We are experiencing some strange behavior with a particular site collection. A site collection administrator receives a File Not Found error message when trying to access the Manage Alerts console. However, on the same site collection other Administrators can access it without any error messages. What could be causing this?

I need some additional information. Look in the latest log file located at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\logs and post the entire error details including any stack trace. Alternately, if you cannot find this in the log file, enable the Stack Trace in the web.config file by setting the CallStack value to true as in the following example, then post the results.
