Hi,
I just installed a trial version of Alert Manager 2007 to my development system. It successfully deployed to the web apps I chose, and the SharePoint Central Admin pages. YAY.
The development environment is a single server farm, 32-bit WSS 3.0 / MOSS 2007 SP2.
Now I am testing and can't seem to get an alert created at all. When I go to my test site and choose "Manage My Alerts" which resides on the web application to which Alert Manager is installed, I get to the Alert Manager "Manage Alerts" page. I have no filters, and I go to New -> Add Alert.
I have turned off SharePoint's "friendly" error messages as detailed in the ExCM help to reveal the following error:

When I look at the server at c:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\web server extenstions\12\TEMPLATE\CONTROL TEMPLATES\SPSolutions\AlertManager (I hope this is the correct location) I see a number of files beginning with the string "InputFormSectionAlert" but there's no file entitled "InputFormSectionAlertSendConfirmation.ascx".
Did I do something incorrectly or should the file exist elsewhere on the server's file system?
Please let me know what other information you need.
Thank you, in advance,
Alyssa
