I had configured ExCM successfully and all was working as expected. Recently we had to change the zone configuration and the corresponding config of Authenticaion Providers for our extranet, and this seems to have broke the ExCM invitation process.
Both Zones Logins are working, but when an invitation is created they don't have DelegationProperties and they are flagged as IsAdminInvitation='Yes'.
I have sent a question to support, but wonder if anyone has had this problem.
I am not sure if it is the same problem or not, but whenever I get a user who tries to login, they receive the following after they try and create the user:
Mail Definition 'RegistrationSuccessWithApproval' could not be found.
This has only been happening since we updated to the latest version. did something change or what.
If you open the Mail Definitions list (Site Actions -> Delegation Settings -> Modify All Delegation Settings -> Delegation Mail Definitions) is there an entry for RegistrationSuccessWithApproval?
If this was an existing site the new mail definitions will not get added unless you deactivate/activate the Delegation Web Components site feature. Please see the Additional Considerations section from the upgrading instructions below...
In addition, if this mail definition did get removed deactivating/activating the Delegation Web Components site feature will re-create the mail definition.
I think the issue is the Delagate Admin (The account used to send the invite) was added to the Site Collections Admin group. Heres the link that helped:
I'll test and let you know.
